Never forget that enemies of democracy will destroy our freedom when given the chance. Whether protecting from foreign or domestic terrorists, we must always stand up to defend our nation and our ideals of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

This 9/11 Memorial is at the Healdsburg Square in Sonoma County.  It is a section of I-beam from the Twin Towers resembling a book with it’s pages open and blank.  Our future is not yet written, and we are the authors of our nation’s fate.

The Monument is located between two independent bookstores, most towns are lucky to have just one.

We must have an educated and informed citizenry. The terrorists and the governments that support them hate an educated and informed citizenry. Whether banning half their citizens from an education, or privatizing schools to block children from freedom to learn from books which have different views, the terrorists win when we do nothing.
